Tequila, tequila, tequila.. ahhh the good and the bad all mixed into one liquor. My favorite way to mix it is a good margarita! I wanted to share with you all my top favorite margaritas (so far because let's be real, there will be many more) in NYC!

Skinny Cantinas - Long Island City; 10/10!
These are by far my favorite margs I have found. I have tried regular on the rocks (no salt for me) and also frozen regular/ mango. The mango, to die!! They are strong giiiirrrll but you won't taste the tequila, its really a whole experience. Plus the food is icing on the cake.
Hill Country- Chelsea; 9/10!
It's like stepping right into Texas. You really do get the full effect of the country life in this adorable restaurant/ bar. The margs come in mason jars and will take you for a ride! I always get the original on the rocks but my girls have tried a wide variety of the flavors they offer and they all love them. Two of them will have you on the dance floor doing the two step. I have to be honest, I have not really tried the food from here. It is not usually my choice of dining and I mainly come here for happy hour!
3. Street Taco- 358 3rd Ave; 2/10..
a. I don't really have much to say here, the classic happy hour margarita was so bad. The tequila was cheap. Truly hard to drink!
4. Mexicue- 225 5th Ave; 7/10!
a. Good! Also had a classic. Yummy and sweet. The food here is also so good and it is only a two min walk from Madison Square Pa
rk, will go back!
5. Baby Bos- 627 2nd Ave; 6/10!
a. Long story short, great place for $6 dollar happy hour margs! Pretty good, lots of flavors. The reason I love this place so much is the staff, they are so kind and friendly!
6. La Palapa- 77 St Marks Pl; 8/10!
a. Margs are amazing and strong! Taco Tuesday margs are $5 last time I was there. Great atmosphere, def recommend. Ohhhh and the food, delicious!!
7. Dos Caminos- Broadway; 7/10!
a. Nothing bad to say, was a good drink! Guac was so good. Atmosphere was incredible and the hostess was so sweet.
8. Hatfields- Bell Blvd; 5/10
a. Outdoor seating, very bar like vibe so I guess its on me for ordering a marg when I should have had a beer. Very strong but not in the best way.. was not the worst I ever had, not the best. You are better off with a cold draft beer!
9. Five Burros- Austin Street, Queens; 8.5/10
a. food is wildly good! I always thought they should expand because the restaurant is tinyyyy. The margs are strong and made really well. I had two and was feeling it when I left. Call to make reservations if you can.
10. Blockheads- Several Locations in NYC; 8/10
a. I love this place for date night. They have outdoor seating when the weather is good and so close to the E train so it makes for an easy getaway, or easy way back to your apartment depending on how that goes! Frozen margs always a safe bet and the guac is perfection. Close to Hell's Kitchen area as well so you can bar hop after. Also affordable!
